The app adheres to the best available evidence on how to quit smoking and includes over 30 tried-and-tested behaviour change techniques. We have published evidence that our app helps people quit: a large randomised trial found that participants who received the basic features of the app plus the missions - daily, tasks designed to help people stay quit - were twice as likely to quit successfully as participants who used the basic features of the app alone. We also have emerging evidence that our chatbot - which delivers behaviour change guidance in conversational form - further increases a user’s chances of success.
