DESCRIPTION

Malnutrition is a common, complicated, and costly problem for hospitals. In the US, one in three patients admitted to the hospital has malnutrition — but <9% are diagnosed. Junum provides the tools needed to accurately diagnose malnutrition within your existing EHR workflows and improve revenue capture accordingly.

The MalnutritionCDS™ solution is clinician-driven technology that integrates right into hospitals' existing EHR (Epic or Cerner) workflows and provides the tools needed for various clinical stakeholders to accurately chart, diagnose, and treat patients. This software allows physicians to quickly and accurately identify and treat malnourished patients and improves clinical workflows, saves physicians time, and drives hospital revenue. Our SMART on FHIR app integrates seamlessly into existing EHR workflows, giving clinicians easy access to the nutrition insights and evidence based guidelines they need to drive improved outcomes.

Junum specializes in nutrition informatics and workflows. Why spend 5 years of internal IT resources building and iterating, when Junum can integrate quickly and generate a high ROI without overburdening your team. Junum encourages better nutritional care and helps drive additional hospital revenue by integrating directly with EHRs so providers can incorporate nutrition management at the point of care.

Junum is the only company focused on nutrition decision support for physicians and the entire care team. This allows hospitals to generate new revenue from malnutrition, coordinate with SDoH programs, and improve outcomes quickly and uniformly across the system.
