Two of the founders of PharmID have family connections in pharmacy, so it was only a matter of time before the connection of Raman Spectroscopy to assist pharmacy in identification and verification of medications was made. PharmID is currently pursuing products to support drug diversion prevention, IV compounding verification and other activities where knowing for certain what-the-drug-is is important.
