DESCRIPTION

CapMedic is a state-of-the-art Class II FDA-cleared solution to remotely monitor and manage Asthma and COPD patients.

At the core, it includes a fun, interactive smart inhaler that verbally coaches patients in real-time for regular and correct use.
The same device doubles as a smart inhaler to regularly monitor lung function.
Without needing to connect to an app, it only takes a few seconds for patients to understand their control and use inhalers correctly but also for clinicians to seamlessly receive rich medication and lung function information.
For very young, at-risk, and elderly patients for whom early detection is paramount, the solution includes the first FDA-cleared home usable oscillometry test that requires no forced breathing.

CapMedic is shown to significantly improve inhaler use in published pilots. In a recent pilot, the solution showed 1 week early COPD exacerbation detection capabilities using effort-free oscillometry testing.
