Folia Health

Folia Health is a creating tools to help parents become superhero caregivers for kids with chronic conditions. At Folia Health, they believe that family caregivers have a unique perspective that will change the way that healthcare is delivered. Family caregivers, including parents, notice important changes in a patient's health at home every day - what if these observations could be easily captured as datapoints to help understand the patient's progress? Their platform, Folia, enables caregivers to record this data by answering simple, personalized multiple choice questions. Right now, Folia is available to members of the cystic fibrosis community, in collaboration with Maine Medical. They plan to expand their reach in cystic fibrosis and add 3-5 other conditions in 2018. Folia Health is one of 32 companies selected out of more than 500 for the MassChallenge Pulse program Class of 2018, and we raised their first round of funding in December 2017.
