Paige.AI, stands for Pathology AI Guidance Engine, is a new startup that uses artificial intelligence to fight cancer. The company said that it plans to focus first on breast, prostrate and other major cancers, and expects to partner with other medical centers beyond MSK, as well as commercial labs and pharmaceutical companies as it grows and develops its applications. Its team is composed of machine learning experts with decade of experience in building large scale ML systems for computational pathology. They develop novel deep learning and ensemble models to create the first clinical-grade AI in pathology.
