Description

Product Description:

Our telemedicine staffing solutions place providers in healthcare organizations across all 50 states. While we embrace our reputation as a company that can find the right physician or advanced practice provider fast, it’s important to understand that we are more than just a stop-gap measure for urgent coverage needs.

We are even better at partnering with hospitals, practices and telemedicine service providers to help them staff up for planned growth or anticipated vacancies.

About Med-Link Staffing:

Med-Link is a national multispecialty physician staffing company that has developed an extensive network of physicians who are available to provide telemedicine consults on a contract basis. We have provider resource capabilities across multiple specialties to include family, internal & emergency medicine, neurology & psychiatry, cardiology, infectious disease, nephrology, and pulmonology. Our independent contractor physicians perform both synchronous and asynchronous consultations for inpatient and outpatient settings as well as direct to consumer patients.

With our access to our provider resources, you can supplement your current panel of physicians to enable you to confidently expand your reach either geographically or to enter into new specialty areas. The physicians in our network are multi-state licensed, credentialed to work across the country and are immediately available to begin providing consultations. We have been in business for nearly 20 years have developed a staffing program and financial model specifically for the telemedicine industry.

Product Description:

Luna is outpatient physical therapy delivered to the patient at their home or office. All fees are billed through insurance payers as would be at traditional brick-and-mortar clinics. Luna therapists prescribe exercises to the patient between sessions through the Luna app. Patient-specific outcomes reporting is made available to a referring physician and health system. Patient outcomes produced through Luna are measurably better than brick-and-mortar clinics.

About Luna:

Luna was founded in 2018 to reimagine the physical therapy experience and is now the leading provider of in-home, outpatient physical therapy services with over 3,500 PTs on the platform serving 55 markets across 29 states. Luna makes receiving and practicing outpatient physical therapy more convenient, modern, and impactful - through the use of technology. Now, patients have greater access to care, and therapists have the autonomy and flexibility they need to manage their careers and thrive in their own practice.

A partnership with Luna allows any health system to include in-home, outpatient physical therapy among its outpatient service offerings – and immediately improve patient access, coverage, referral recapture, and revenue.

Luna performs all of the key functions relevant to patient, therapist, physician, and partner success while efficiently managing billing, compliance, and clinical quality assurance. The new service can be branded in a manner that is consistent with the health system’s brand

and strategy. Partners with Luna receive everything they need to turn outpatient care into a reliable and contributing service line.

Use Cases

Description:

A Native American Tribe with a patient care population of 2,500 members was in need of telespecialists to help transition their care model from acute episodic care to “whole person” care. They were in need of rheumatologists, dermatologists, nephrologists, neurologists, endocrinologists, and pulmonologists.

MedLink identified and recruited the necessary specialists in rheumatology, dermatology, nephrology, neurology, endocrinology, and pulmonology. With an internal database of over 25,000 physicians (including all sub-specialty areas), MedLink had already formed relationships with physicians who could help serve this community and was able to recruit others through email campaigns and social media outreach.

Once specialists were identified, they went through a rigorous screening process to determine that they were suitable for performing tele-specialty consults for this very specific patient population. MedLink also screened physicians for the correct licenses and facilitated their credentialing. Once they were ready, MedLink also coordinated tele-visit training and onboarding with the Native American tribe.

In less than 6 weeks, MedLink was able to successfully staff the Native American Tribe’s specialty clinic with 8 physicians. Those specialists were onboarded well within the goal time frame and are on their way to providing better access to care and “whole person” care to this underserved population.

Differentiators

Differentiators vs EHR Functionality:

Deploying specialty physician resources

Binding malpractice coverage

Physician payment processing

Physician credentialing in accordance with medical staff requirements

Managing the day-to-day activities associated with the provision of outsourced specialty care

Differentiators vs Competitors:

When you choose MedLink for your physician staffing needs, you’re choosing experts with over 30 years of experience. You’re also choosing a service-oriented team that is dedicated to providing our clients with a staffing experience that's as frictionless as possible.

Differentiators vs EHR Functionality:

87% of outpatient physical therapy can be successfully delivered in the home environment. Luna at-home PT service extends and expands a health systems PT program, immediately delivering a hospital-at-home type of service to patients. Luna reduces a health system's PT leakage by accommodating patients who might otherwise use PT clinics outside of the health system network. Luna patients spend the entire session (45-55 minutes) with their therapist versus 15 minutes with brick-and-mortar clinics. There is no cost to the patients for Luna's concierge-level service. Luna has a patient Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 85.

Differentiators vs Competitors:

Luna is the only nationwide provider of in-person physical therapy delivered to the patient at their home or workplace. Luna meets the patient where they are most comfortable, in their home, and delivers real in-person physical therapy. Virtual MSK companies provide "zoom-based" MSK injury prevention at low rates of efficacy. Luna delivers the highest rate of outcomes in the physical therapy business.
