VSTOne is designed to be a single hardware solution that performs multiple functions in the hospital room. Current features include:
- Proactive Fall Prevention Monitoring
- Proactive Pressure Injury Prevention
- Virtual Nursing Connectivity
- Virtual AI Assistant
Fall Prevention -
VSTOne monitors patients for potential exits from their bed or chair, so nurses can arrive before the exit occurs. VSTOne uses LIDAR sensors and machine learning to detect a patient's intent to stand, request that the patient remain seated, and alert a nurse to assist.
Pressure Injury Prevention -
Using LIDAR sensors, VSTOne monitors patients for natural shifting movements throughout their stay. If a patient has not moved significantly within established parameters, VSTOne prompts them to turn. If the patient does not, VSTOne alerts a nurse to arrive and turn the patient.
Virtual Nursing -
VSTOne integrates directly with in-room TVs to deliver immediate video calls with remote nurses. Remote nursing teams can conduct virtual rounding, patient intake/discharge processes, virtual specialist visits, and more by using VSTOne's virtual nursing connectivity.
AI Assistant -
VSTOne's revolutionary AI Assistant (named Betsy) works like a switchboard operator for the hospital room, assisting nursing and improving service to patients. By using natural language processing and large language models, Betsy can conduct pain scale assessments and patient check-ins while updating the EHR with patient responses, helping to triage patient needs. It can also take requests from patients, such as food orders, and route those to the correct team.
