Roundtrip is not an EHR platform, however we do integrate with common EHR platforms like Epic. Our software is used by care coordinators to book patient rides with a network of transportation providers. By integrating with EHR platforms, the data pulls through more easily and accurate so that it is translated into the ride booking request automatically. 

  • Transportation Company-Agnostic: Roundtrip is intentionally transportation company-agnostic, which provides the space for optimization based on the data without other incentive to route rides. Roundtrip does not require a joint venture with a health system or upfront investment in capital expenses such as trucks to launch.
  • Market-Aggregation: Roundtrip was designed to enable a transportation community, where multiple different transportation companies have access to the ride requests. This allows case managers to optimize patient flow by simultaneously accessing numerous transportation vendors at once, not just automating a single phone call.
  • Tech Enabled Service: Roundtrip has a 24/7 navigation center to support rides and get authorizations, a transportation team to build networks, account teams to support long-term success of accounts and deep expertise to advise on transportation

The Roundtrip platform is great and has significantly enhanced our patient transportation operations.

Roundtrip is an exceptional product that simplifies the process of arranging patient transport for our staff. Our patients appreciate it, and our community transportation partners do as well. The burden of obtaining prior authorizations is lifted from our staff and managed by the Roundtrip team, which has improved payment processes and freed up staff to focus on patient care. Additionally, the platform's access to ride data provides comprehensive visibility into every aspect of the patients' journey, enabling us to hold transport partners accountable for their performance. One area for improvement is the billing visibility of ambulance vendors. Currently, billing is handled by the vendor rather than through Roundtrip, which complicates the reconciliation process. Highly recommend Roundtrip, overall.

Quality and Ease all in one!
