emocha works with patients who have chronic and infectious diseases, including tuberculosis, asthma, diabetes, substance use disorder, HIV, and hepatitis C.

Scene has most recently worked with pediatric asthma patients during a two-month program. During the program, patients used emocha to submit daily check-in videos of themselves taking their prescribed inhalers, while emocha’s care team provided daily and direct engagement to improve inhaler technique and adherence, and supported patients throughout treatment. emocha’s care team also delivered personalized engagement to help patients and families in maintaining their asthma care plans.

Preliminary data suggests improved asthma control among participants, with a reduction in asthma-related ER visits and fewer oral steroid prescriptions. Outcomes included a high adoption rate among participants, with close to 1,000 virtual medication visits. Within the two-month program, the majority of patients exhibited at least one technique issue -- most of which were remotely handled by Scene's clinical adherence team.

Scene Health also works with pharmaceutical companies and CRO's to secure adherence in clinical trials. Scene's adherence application confirms protocol compliance, and Scene's adherence team escalates any protocol deviations to proactively address costly challenges.
