Product Description:
Real recovery requires support from healthcare providers, family members, and peers. Unfortunately, relapse risk after treatment is high – the relapse rate is estimated between 40 – 60%. CHESS Health provides evidence-based support programs that function as a safety net for individuals in recovery – particularly during the hours, days, and weeks that stressors and risks are most likely to surface – and when individuals are not in front of their healthcare treatment provider. The CHESS Connections app, which supports individuals in building healthy habits, reducing isolation, and celebrating achievements, is the foundation of a robust virtual community. CHESS Health’s certified peer recovery specialists, who have lived experience in SUD, moderate lively discussion groups and host video support meetings, creating meaningful engagement and dialogue around the issues that matter most – and support individuals 24/7. The platform even includes digital behavior change programs, allowing individuals to access bite-sized training on an as-needed basis.
About CHESS Health:
CHESS Health creates innovative solutions designed at the intersection of science, technology, and recovery. Founded in 2014 by nationally recognized substance abuse researcher Dr. Dave Gustafson, CHESS developed A-CHESS- the leading evidence-based relapse prevention technology. By integrating A-CHESS into treatment plans, clinicians, case managers and coaches can best support those in recovery with access to predictive relapse analytics, condition-specific content and access to live support, reducing relapse by 50 percent while decreasing costs and saving lives. A leader in the mHealth space, the A-CHESS platform received recognition from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP), the Journal of Substance Abuse and the Surgeon General.

Description:

With eIntervention, SUD providers get a web-based platform for establishing digital, closed-loop referral connections with community referral sources, such as EDs, clinics, community organizations, correctional facilities, and others, and to coordinate services with other providers and agencies in the community. Not only are referrals automated and tracked, but the integrated patient engagement functionality within eIntervention also supports and motivates the individual to follow through on the referral. CHESS customers report more referrals and fewer no-shows following the use of eIntervention.

Differentiators vs Competitors:

We’re excited to announce that Heroes Health has transitioned to the capable hands and innovative minds at Marvin Online Teletherapy. Marvin was founded in 2020 with the mission to improve mental health care delivery to clinicians.

First, to protect your privacy, no user data has been transferred to Marvin. This means that, if you haven’t already, you’ll need to download a new version of the Heroes Health application launched by Marvin from Google Play or the App Store.

Second, all Heroes Health users will continue to receive free mental health surveys and mental health symptom reports.

Third, if your employer has renewed their Heroes Health partnership through Marvin, you’ll continue to receive free personalized outreach if you report substantial mental health symptoms.

Differentiators vs Competitors:

Our eRecovery solution, encompassing our evidence-based Connections App, provides individuals with 24/7 support to sustain and strengthen their recovery between outpatient visits. Clinical trials and customer implementations have found that individuals with the app were more likely to make their next appointment and stay in treatment. Their long-term outcomes are better too; health plans and others have measured lower rates of return to a higher level of care (detox, residential, inpatient) among those with the support of the app.
