DESCRIPTION

Vibe Health Aware is a digital door display that integrates with the EMR to show patient precautions and notifications outside the patient room in real-time. Aware keeps care teams, visitors, and patients safe by making critical information visible in real-time.

Dynamic alerts can notify staff in real-time when patients should be turned or addressed. Precautions such as allergies, fall risk, NPO, etc., are pulled directly from the EMR through integration. Because it comes from the source of truth, you can be sure information is accurate and reliable every time.

Prevent costly mistakes by giving care teams instant, up-to-date information as they enter patient rooms. They’ll be fully prepared for each patient interaction with the information they need, so they can focus on providing exemplary care.

Consolidating Important Clinical Information into One View is a Huge Time Saver for Providers and Visitors.

The Digital Door Sign provides up to date clinical information directly from the EMR to reduce or eliminate the need to hang precaution signs on the patient door.

The digital door sign creates a more organized and less cluttered appearance on the inpatient unit. In addition, if a patient has multiple isolations with overlapping PPE, the Aware screen technology is intelligent enough to display the most restrictive PPE and eliminate duplicate instructions.

Care consideration icons on the screen provide helpful information to know before entering the patient room such as impairments, allergies, or restrictions. Nurses also have the option to manually add icons for specific situations.

Digital Door Sign can be programmed to display lights when certain criteria are met, such as when the patient is on high fall precautions a bright red light displays making it obvious from afar to nursing. This feature has been helpful to the providers on the unit to quickly know about the high fall risk rooms in advance.

Upon patient discharge, and through the integration with the EMR, the Aware screen displays a 'dirty bed' icon indicating the bed needs to be cleaned. If the patient in the room had isolations, this information remains on the screen for the EVS staff to properly gown for the cleaning. These icons are a helpful communication tool for staff to know the status of the room.

Comprehensive and Innovative Product!

The amount of time our nurses spend putting up magnets outside of patient rooms is large. We have been able to cut out that piece all together by automating most of the alert icons and isolation signs by workflows in the EMR, helping the front line staff have more time with their patients as a result.
