VideoConnect supports up to 5 parties on the line. It is designed for on-the-fly encounters from the hospital patient room.
The VideoConnect backbone, from Bluestream Health, has a robust set of APIs and can integrate with the EHR.
The core VideoConnect use cases are designed for in-patient telepresence. However, the underlying technology form BlueStream Health, our development partner, does support intake and virtual waiting rooms and the functions described above.
This feature is utilized most with Language Interpreter services where we can tap into Hospital resouces first and then roll over to outsourced provides.

pCare Video Connect brings telepresence to the hospital room without requiring additional devices to be tracked and managed for infection control. Designed to facilitate virtual encounters with remote participants as well as to maintain quarantine when distance is required, Video Connect can also integrate with existing your telemedicine solutions through the television. The benefit of using VideoConnect leveraging the television infrastruction is that staff is not required to bring in other devices, computers on wheels, or support other systems to bring telepresence to the bedside.
