Mpirik’s Cardiac Intelligence® (CI) soware analyzes echocardiogram reports, CT reports, and other diagnostic results to identify patients with characteristics of cardiac disease. Diagnostic results from the electronic health record (EHR) are sent to Mpirik, analyzed by Mpirik’s algorithms, and the results are displayed through Mpirik’s web-based platform. Through the CI platform, clinicians can view their patient population, manage identified patients with the purpose of eliminating undertreatment, and receive automated alert notifications on patients identified with no appropriate follow-up plan. The real-time availability of the platform, data, and alert notifications drives workflow efficiency and saves time on clinicians data review. The CareLoop platform is a web and mobile application, compatible with both IOS and Android. CareLoop uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) where information is securely stored in a virtual private cloud. CareLoop uses only HIPAA compliant AWS services. CareLoop leverages modern interoperability standards including SMART on FHIR and webhooks to be able to query a LTC or health system’s EHR for clinical data, customized in alignment with the organization’s needs. Relevant data models include patient demographics, care-team, location/organization, laboratory data, problems, medications, care plan/goal, appointments, and scheduling. CareLoop is integrated into Redox, a healthcare data exchange service, used by 750+ health systems, and part of the HL7 FHIR Argonaut Project. The Redox network aggregates integrations for fast, secure and consistent connections between a variety of digital health solutions and health care providers. Redox leverages a standardized JSON & FHIR data models to read, write and query healthcare data with any partner, supporting bidirectional communication. Where FHIR resources may be limited, through Redox, CareLoop has access to a number of HL7 data models and web services.
