MedStar Health is one of the largest hospital organizations in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia regions. We have over 300 care locations and 35,000 team members. 

At MedStar Health, I oversee the current health and future states of the telehealth platforms being utilized within MedStar Health. Some of the use cases for these platforms include: On-Demand Urgent Care, scheduled appointments, Virtual Nursing, Teleconsults, and Biocontainment Unit. 

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with the eVisit team to co-develop some amazing capabilities, such as: 

• PTZ camera control 

• Ability to create a telehealth visit link for another provider 

• Send telehealth invitations in advance of appointment dates/times

• Translating invitations and patient interfaces into other languages

• Directly dial into the virtual room without requiring in-hospital patients to interact with their devices
