Courses can be completed online using laptops, tablets, or smartphones. A patient with diabetes will need internet access and an email address so they can receive the referral to the course (from their clinician) and register online. Courses available to take, in the comfort of a patients' home, include: Understanding Type 1; My Type 2 Diabetes; My Insulin Pump; My Gestational Diabetes, and more. All courses also offer peer support element through moderated comments.

MyWay Digital Health can produce a locally branded public education website for patients and carers including: Multi-media resources (over 200 resources); Links out to accredited external material; Specific COVID advice including diabetes sick-day rules; and Multi-language content. We can offer 6 x QISMET approved certified online patient structured-education e-learning courses to replace face-to-face education options including: Type 2 diabetes (for newly diagnosed/ refresher); Type 1 diabetes; and Gestational diabetes. COVID-19 Crisis Costs for set up and licensing for 12 months are: $0.30 x diabetes population head per year (25% of our normal costs!) for populations >500,000 diabetes; $0.40 (250 - 500,000 population); $0.60 (200 - 300,000 population); Smaller populations- price on request. Aim of offering the structured education, at time when it may not possible to physically visit your doctor or attend training, is to: increase user knowledge about their condition; increase their confidence in how to manage it; help users to make informed choices regarding their diet and lifestyle; provide peer support and allow users to share their experience with others.
