DESCRIPTION

Aiva integrates with more than 25 inpatient systems, including building management (like Siemens, Desigo and Trane), patient experience (like GetWell, Sonifi, pCare and Vibe), communications (like Voalte and Vocera), EHR (Epic, Cerner) and nurse call (Rauland). Patients enjoy instant results and a more self-directed experience. Nurses spend less time on low-value requests and more on direct patient care, allowing them to practice at the top of their license. For example, at a rehab hospital in Philadelphia, patients average more than 6 smart room requests per day using Aiva, saving nurses more than 7500 hours per year.

Enhances Patient and Nurse Experience

Patients can control room tech like the TV and get hospital specific information by asking Alexa to help.

"Nurses don’t feel like they are invading a patient’s space as they don’t have to start rifling through covers and bedsheets trying to find the TV remote," said Lisa Baak, Clinical Informatics Supervisor at Moffitt

Helps enhance their hospital experience

Patients young and old are now used to voice-activated devices in their homes. Since it's familiar to them, it helps enhance their hospital experience. In the hospital, patients have little to distract them from pain or loneliness. Aiva has been a true partner.
