Mytonomy’s rigorous content creation process ensures high-quality, peer-reviewed information that enhances viewer engagement, comprehension, and retention and comes from a trusted source. Each step of our process is informed by members of our National Clinical Advisory Network, who play a vital role in developing reliable, up-to-date content that answers patients' most frequently asked questions. Our National Clinical Advisory Network includes licensed physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health providers, nurses, pharmacologists, and therapists in active clinical practice. They each bring expertise in the patient care continuum. Members of this Advisory Network include thought leaders from major academic institutions, researchers, and authors published in peer-reviewed journals. Our members are Subject Matter Experts in major therapeutic areas who ensure that our 2,500+ microlearning videos are current, accurate and relevant. Mytonomy’s content creation follows a proprietary five-step process that involves internal review with our clinical leadership team and external review with at least two clinical experts from our Advisory Network guiding each step.

Can assign and track content; was the video viewed or the handout displayed as a PDF? The content can be assigned via various EMR triggers. Mytonomy can write back the viewership of the assigned videos back to the EMR. All digital activity on the Mytonomy platform is timestamped. Beyond tracking, Mytonomy allows providers to reduce manual follow-up with rule-based reminders based on context. Personalized messages (cognizant of PHI considerations) are sent via email, SMS, or MyChart that remind the patient to complete their assigned content.

Mytonomy's interface consists of YouTube-like playlists that stream video, audio and display PDFs. Surveys and digital interactions occur around the video viewing process. Our application is mobile-responsive and can integrate into your website, existing mobile app, or 3rd party EHR. Our data shows that patients watch multiple videos in a setting.

Some customers choose to expose our entire video library to their patients for browsing, and others assign specific condition modules based on the patient’s care plan and journey. At every step of the patient journey, Mytonomy’s nudging and hovering capabilities prompt users to take the next best action or monitor them remotely with simple questions. The patient experience is both guided and personalized.

Mytonomy’s user interface is similar to Netflix or YouTube’s playlists, which makes it feel familiar to patients. Mytonomy is an add-free model. There are few choices for patients to make: pushing play on a video or navigating to other videos, are really the only two options. The system has consistently scored 90%+ in user satisfaction and user comments validate the easy of use.

Mytonomy can be deployed with no EHR integration as a standalone portal. Our back end allows care navigators to invite patients to the platform with only a few clicks. Our website is WCAG compliant.

Mytonomy’s robust EHR integration strategy utilizes both HL-7 and FHIR based approaches to target content to patients. For systems wishing pure automation with no human involvement, we support multiple HL-7 message types to trigger content based on scheduling, including write back of patient viewership to the EHR. We partner with Redox to facilitate interoperability.

Mytonomy provides whole-person patient care that can be custom-created or tailored to each Oncology Center and/or Patient.

We digitize and modernize patient education and engagement across the entire oncology patient journey. Helping patients and families understand each step and participate in the decisions that need to be made while reducing time for providers. We do not do appointment scheduling or provider searches.

Yes, Mytonomy can partner with you to create caregiver content tailored to your system's cancer care journey. Caregivers can also access patient education as a means to understand their loved one's journey. Third-party links and resources can be aggregated in our UI, allowing caregivers to have "one-stop" for all digital resources (video, print, URLs).

Differentiators

Differentiators vs EHR Functionality:

Strategically, Locus is focused on:

(1) helping our customer health systems leverage the critical investment they’ve made in existing technology platforms like the EHR, creating impact for key patient populations where remote care management can most effectively drive outcomes and return on investment.

(2) meeting our health system care teams where they are, recognizing the reality of patient monitoring and navigation needs vs available provider resources and ensuring that our platform’s ability to collect, synthesize, and transmit key population and patient-specific data supports the efficiency of their teams’ workflows and innovative approaches to coordinated care.

(3) providing a single-platform “middleware plus” approach to integration, allowing health system teams to choose their preferred remote devices and seamlessly integrate with other relevant patient information via Locus to the EHR

(4) helping our health system customers view and establish Remote Care Management (both RPM and Navigation) as a strategic capability, supporting both enhanced quality outcomes and becoming a positive-ROI profit center (via enhanced reimbursement revenue and/or lower preventable costs).
