Description

Product Description:

Backed by Redesign Health and the March of Dimes Innovation Fund, Iron Health is a virtual care partner that empowers the OB/GYN to improve patient outcomes by extending the latitude of care they can provide to their patients.

When we think about women’s health, we look at both the patient and the provider. Both perspectives show the challenges in women’s health from different sides of the coin. US women’s health outcomes are the worst in the developed world. And on the provider side, challenges are equally real. OB/GYNs are serving as what we call 3-in-1 providers— providing their specialty care in obstetrics and gynecology but also doing primary care and mental health.

Nearly half of OB/GYNs consider themselves a PCP, and 84% of OB/GYNs prescribe depression and anxiety medications. Even if they’re comfortable providing extended care, physicians and staff shortage make this problematic.

At the current rate, there will not be enough OB/GYNs to serve the female population by 2050. That’s where Iron Health comes in. We tell our OB/GYN partners, “work with us and do less with more.” You can extend your latitude of care while reducing burnout and driving revenue.

Our care delivery is tech-enabled through a patient app, where patients can schedule and manage their virtual visits and communication with Iron Health providers, complete screenings, and more. We’re innovating from *within* the traditional healthcare system because we know the OB/GYN is a woman’s most trusted healthcare provider.

About Iron Health:

Iron Health is a virtual extension of the OB/GYN practice. We provide patients with faster access to primary and specialty care, improve care coordination, and boost utilization of ancillary services all while decreasing physician burnout through our optimized offerings.

Product Description:
Array’s OnDemand Care service delivery model provides timely access 24/7 to a team of psychiatrists and/or LCSWs and behavioral health specialists for risk assessment, consultation, screening evaluation, initiation and management of treatment, case management and disposition.
About Array Behavioral Care:

Who we are

Array Behavioral Care is a virtual psychiatry and therapy practice that was founded by clinicians more than 23 years ago. We employ and closely manage a large team of licensed psychiatrists, therapists, and behavioral health specialists who use evidence-based assessment tools and treatment protocols to provide high-quality, standardized care. Our clinicians are supported by administrative and technical teams and overseen by engaged, experienced clinical leaders ensuring they deliver care that is effective, safe, and clinically appropriate.

What we’re not

We are not a technology platform, a network of 1099 contracted providers, or an Uber-like model where clinicians work gigs. We are not a staffing company or a locums tenens group, and our utility extends beyond simple clinician capacity. The impact of our programs is tangible, and we can predict with confidence what metrics will be improved.

How we got here

Array was born out of a bricks-and-mortar behavioral health practice in southern New Jersey that still exists today. In 1999, Founder and current Executive Chief Medical Officer, Dr. James R. Varrell, provided the nation’s first commitment via telepsychiatry. After that first encounter, we started using telehealth to deliver psychiatry coverage to local hospitals. Our telepsychiatry service offerings quickly grew into new care settings and new states. While we now have a national scope, we’re still a closely managed practice and the only one delivering virtual behavioral health services across the entire continuum of care.

Differentiators vs Competitors:

Unlike our competition, our customer is the OB/GYN. The OB/GYN is one of the patient’s most trusted providers that spans the patient’s lifetime and is therefore key to unlocking long-term outcomes.

We improve access to primary and specialty care and serve as the woman's medical home while also relieving the burden placed on the OB/GYN providers for providing care outside their specialty.
