Product Description:
Initial Insights is the first tier offering of the NICUtrition® platform. It provides the ability for a hospital to track key performance measures across the neonatal intensive care unit in a retrospective or prospective report. With a one-time data extract from a hospital’s EMR, including (up to) 5 years of historical information around feeding, growth and diagnoses, our Initial Insights reports will show milestones with 'smart' growth charts and z-scores and an outcomes analysis for the feeding and growth data collected at the individual patient and unit levels. Additionally, with EMR integration, Initial Insights is provided to the hospital via real-time access for ongoing analytics.
About Astarte Medical:
Setting the course for better health begins at the core. As a precision-care solution provider, Astarte Medical helps neonatal care professionals improve patient outcomes in the first 1,000 days of life by leveraging the power of automated software and predictive analytics to deliver personalized nutritional care to preterm and critically-ill infants in the NICU. We are initially focused on developing digital tools designed to standardize feeding and optimize nutrition for preterm infants, particularly for those born before 34 weeks gestational age. Astarte Medical was founded in 2016, when serial entrepreneurs and venture investors partnered with a clinical scientist and other nutrition thought leaders. The company has seen 100% growth since 2019 and currently operates with $8.5M raised from top venture financing firms and 12 FTEs. NICUtrition® by Astarte Medical, is the first real-time, nutrition management support solution, designed to standardize feeding and optimize nutrition to improve outcomes specifically for preterm infants. It allows neonatology specialists, nursing professionals, dietiitans and department heads to effectively automate their health system’s feeding protocols, simplify workflows & measure compliance for more consistent quality care delivery, while leveraging predictive analytics to support data-enabled clinical decision-making for improved patient outcomes.
Product Description:

Oneview’s Care Experience Platform (CXP) delivers a host of patient-centered services that improve the experience of care for patients, families, and providers. Patients spend most of their time in the hospital waiting. They spend an average of 12 hours a day watching TV. With the CXP, this time is leveraged to inform, educate, enable self-service, as well as distract and calm.

By automating a host of manual and time-consuming tasks, the system reduces the non-clinical task burden on floor nurses. This reallocation of time allows nurses to focus on clinical care, leading to higher patient and nurse satisfaction and ultimately better HCAHPS scores.

Leading hospital organizations around the globe, including 3 of the US News Top 20 Honor Roll hospitals in the US, partner with Oneview to deliver more control for patients and families, more time for care teams, and less complexity for executives and IT teams. HIPAA-verified, ISO27001 and ISO27701-certified, the CXP integrates seamlessly with every major EHR system.

It’s time to nurture better patient, family and provider experiences. It’s time to experience Oneview.

Differentiators

Differentiators vs EHR Functionality:

EMRs were built as billing support tools and evolved into medical data repositories. Nuanced data of clinical importance can be difficult to access and currently requires dedicated technical personnel with specific skills to partner with clinical staff in a laborious approach to extract specific data. In particular, flow sheets utilized in an intensive care setting, such as the NICU, are particularly challenging to access and review in a structured format.

NICUtrition Initial Insights was built to liberate NICU feeding, growth and diagnosis data from EMRs and provide robust visualizations showing patient milestones and outcomes metrics.

Differentiators vs Competitors:

NICUtrition is fully integrated with the EMR, enabling real-time access of granular, clinical data and the ability to deliver high quality support within existing workflow. We have developed properietary tools to augment EHR integration, supporting overtaxed IT groups within hospitals to get up and running and deliver value and return on investment in months.

Differentiators vs EHR Functionality:

Oneview’s Care Experience Platform (CXP) goes beyond standard EHR functionality by offering a comprehensive patient engagement solution—including entertainment, meal ordering, service requests, and education—accessible on personal or hospital-provided devices. Unlike EHRs focused on clinical data, Oneview enhances the patient experience with real-time updates, automation, and advanced analytics. Its cloud-based infrastructure enables easy deployment, while seamless integration with systems like Epic and Cerner ensures synchronized data and streamlined clinical workflows, allowing hospitals to maximize existing digital investments.

Differentiators vs Competitors:

Oneview's Care Experience Platform is highly scalable and customizable, expanding easily across beds, units, or with added features. It offers advanced, real-time cloud-based analytics and is the only vendor in its category with both ISO27001 and ISO27701 certifications—ensuring top-tier security, simplified cloud deployment, and continuous updates, outperforming legacy on-premise solutions.

Health Equity

Additionally, Oneview integrates with third-party language service applications which can be deployed on Oneview devices to facilitate interpreter involvement in care discussions at the bedside.

Oneview supports multiple languages, screen reader tools, and personalized theming options, making it accessible to all patients .Oneview has a Virtual Assistant called Ovie, a digital assistant chatbot designed to enhance patient engagement and streamline hospital workflows via patient voice. It provides patients with access to a range of services, including entertainment, meal ordering, service requests, and patient education, all through an intuitive interface on their own device or hospital-provided devices.

When a service disruption occurs, the platform seamlessly transitions into Offline Mode, ensuring continuous patient entertainment and engagement. Once the system issues are resolved, users are automatically prompted to log back into Personalized Mode, restoring their personalized settings and preferences 1 . This feature is designed to improve the patient experience by minimizing the impact of connectivity issues on the availability of key services

Oneview is the only vendor in its category that is both ISO27001 and ISO27701 certified, ensuring a high level of security and compliance. This secure cloud solution simplifies implementation and provides ongoing software improvements, which is a significant advantage over competitors with legacy on-premise architectures

Oneview's technical support model includes both onsite and remote support to ensure comprehensive coverage. Remote software support is provided 24/7/365, including public holidays.
