To account for diversity of learning, we ensure our materials (caregiver support, education, skills training, care plans) are written at a 6th-grade reading level or below and can be made available in alternative formats or large text.

We deliver multimodal care and can be flexible based on patient and caregiver needs. For patients that lack access to quality broadband we are able to call, SMS, and send materials in the mail.

Our commitment to accessibility begins with language. Our platform is available in 34 languages, augmented by a multilingual IDT trained in delivering culturally appropriate care. Additionally, to account for diversity of learning, we ensure our materials (caregiver support, education, skills training, care plans) are written at a 6th-grade reading level or below and can be made available in alternative formats or large text. For dyads who are hard of hearing, visits are automatically closed captioned. Any partner organizations we work with must also be aligned in our ethos of delivering culturally competent care.

Through extensive interviews with caregivers, we know that getting to a doctor’s visit is oftentimes the most disruptive part of the care journey. Not only does this create more friction and disorientation for beneficiaries, but for many caregivers, getting their loved one to a doctor is simply not an option due to geographic location or economic status. Virtual care allows Remo to mitigate this pain point for dyads in rural communities or communities with a high Area Deprivation Index — bringing the village of care directly to them. We seek to deeply understand the communities we serve and pinpoint where our service is most needed. We do this by closely examining ADI, dual-eligibility and prevalence of beneficiaries receiving a low-income subsidy in any given county to ensure we are servicing areas with greatest need.

To assess dyads holistically, we screen for social determinants of health (e.g. economic factors, education/health care access and quality, neighborhood and built environment, social/community context) to identify barriers to care. These inputs are integrated into our proprietary risk scores, enabling our IDT to build out person-centric care plans that address holistic needs of the dyad and proactively remove barriers to care. Our robust analytics infrastructure enables reporting on race, ethnicity, language, gender, sexual orientation and disability status. This foundation is how we will examine intervention effectiveness and outcomes across each of these groups, laying the foundation for how we’ll improve health equity in dementia care in key areas of need.

In the realm of digital health, particularly in the sensitive field of dementia care, trust is not given lightly—it’s earned, beneficiary by beneficiary, caregiver by caregiver. At Remo, we understand that each byte of data we protect carries with it the weight of a human life, a story, a family's trust. That's why our security practices are more than procedures; they are a set of deeply held principles, a reflection of our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our community's health information with the utmost care and respect. To that end, our systems are not only HIPAA compliant, but compliant with HITRUST and SOC2 security certifications.

We deliver multimodal care and can be flexible based on patient and caregiver needs. For patients that lack access to quality broadband we are able to call, SMS, and send materials in the mail.

Our teams receive extensive training on delivery of culturally-competent care, accounting for individual needs/preferences.

Remo combines consumer-grade design with technical prowess to deliver best-in-class care that transcends geographic and economic barriers, reduces technological barriers, and optimizes outcomes.

Our platform is designed from the ground up to be inclusive, representative, and purposeful in our imagery and language.

Our tips are based on 5-6th grade reading level to accommodate a broader audience.

Everyone has a cell phone and all ages are fairly adept at using them. Our average age of the eye disease management program is 78.

We take a wholistic approach to care with SDOH parameters which determines the type of content and guidance provided. For example, link to Findhelp.org resources, free clinics, links only to items available at Walmart.

Most people have cell phones. Even with limited cellular data plans, our 30-sec tips and guidance utilize minimal data. Option is available for the user to choose not to click on videos and other links to preserve data usage.

Our content is built based on language (Spanish/English) and looks at cultural differences (for example, the type of recipes used) to adapt to the customer base.

SMS based so easy to use with one-click. Any assistance can be provided via a text message to chatbot asking for guidance on use of chatbot if necessary.
