Alelo’s Enskill platform uses conversational avatar technology to create Virtual Patient Navigators that listen to patient concerns, answer questions, and connect patients with educational and other resources. All recommendations are grounded in accredited content that is approved by the healthcare provider, minimizing the risk of hallucinations. Enskill uses generative AI to transform a healthcare organization’s existing content on the Web and YouTube into an interactive learning resource. Enskill develops a profile of each user (patient, caregiver, healthcare professional) and their situation, and uses it to personalize responses.
Enskill also provides simulated patients and caregivers that train healthcare workers (e.g., patient navigators, community health workers) in patient support skills, and helps them keep abreast of new developments in treatment. Trainees develop skills much faster and are able to apply them immediately in a clinical setting.
Alelo combines the latest in AI technology with research in human learning to help healthcare providers improve the patient experience and transform training and education.
