Product Description:

Aiva Patient Assistant is a voice assistant for patients, giving them hands-free control over their experience while reducing busywork for nurses.

Aiva leverages Alexa devices in patient rooms. We integrate with more than 25 inpatient systems, including building management (like Siemens, Desigo and Trane), patient experience (like GetWell, Sonifi, pCare and Vibe), communications (like Voalte and Vocera), EHR (Epic, Cerner) and nurse call (Rauland).

Patients enjoy instant results and a more self-directed experience, improving satisfaction.

Nurses spend less time on low-value requests and more on direct patient care, allowing them to practice at the top of their license. For example, at a rehab hospital in Philadelphia, patients average more than 12 requests per day using Aiva, saving nurses more than 7500 hours per year.

About Aiva Health:

Aiva is the virtual assistant for healthcare, using conversational control of 25+ inpatient systems to reduce nursing workload and improve patient experience.

Our clients include Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, BayCare Health, Houston Methodist Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital, Jefferson Health and Moffitt Cancer Center.

Aiva Smart Room lets patients control lights, blinds, thermostats and TVs by giving voice commands to enterprise-managed Alexa devices. Making patients more independent improves satisfaction while freeing up nurses to focus on higher-value bedside care.

Aiva Assistant allows nurses and pharmacists to read and write to the EHR, set reminders, access policies & protocols and control patient room environments from anywhere in the hospital. Aiva's mission is to cut by 50% the time staff spend stuck in front of a computer screen.

Differentiators

Differentiators vs EHR Functionality:
Speed time to market by automating what are now mostly manual tasks for individuals spanning cros-functional teams; futureproof the organization's offerings for interoperability/security, etc via a platform that embraces a radidly evolving landscape; breadth and depth of features and functionality (Orbita is helping define and create new technologies and approaches in this sector. NOTE: Organizations should consider the history and early days of Web sites when content management platforms didn't exist; we are now in a similar realm with voice technology; most entities found it cost-prohibiitive to custom-develop an enterprise-scale web platform, let alone keep it up-to-date as technology rapidly evolved. The same will be true for voice.
Differentiators vs Competitors:
Healthcare specific (HIPAA compliance, interoperability, etc); omnichannel (create once, publish to smart speaker, web, mobile, etc.); multimodal (chat, voice, video, etc.); broader in scope than one-off application providers (platform and packaged modules for providers, payors, pharma, and digital health vendors)
Differentiators vs EHR Functionality:

EHRs do not provide hands-free Smart Room controls like lights, blinds, thermostats and TVs. They also don't offer music, educational content, nurse call assistance or integration with language interpreter services.

Differentiators vs Competitors:

Aiva is the only full-featured in-patient voice platform in the U.S.

For example, Aiva's integrations with 25+ inpatient systems make us the only vendor enabling full Smart Room capabilities in U.S. hospitals, including voice control over lights, blinds, thermostats, TVs, PBX and nurse call.

In addition, Aiva Patient Assistant is the only voice assistant enabling access to a range of patient-centric content, from medication education to music and relaxing sounds.
